The Creative Curriculum® is research-based and supports the development of the whole child. Magic Carpet Academy will utilize the curriculum’s printed materials, Digital Cloud and Gold® Assessment. The Cloud will give parents access to At-Home Guided Learning Plans and Experiences, Family Mighty Minutes, Learning Games, Recipe Cards and Digital Children’s Library. Gold® is an assessment embedded in the child’s everyday interactions documented through organized and stored notes, photos, videos, and digital samples of the child’s work which makes assessments authentic and objective.

Nature Learning Playground. Magic Carpet Academy partners with NC State University and the Wilson County Partnership for Children to develop a Nature Learning Outdoor Environment to stimulate the diversity of children’s play experience and contribute to their healthy development.

STREAM. Each classroom will be equipped with different learning stations such as Arts, Blocks, Dramatic Play, Language, Manipulatives, Science, Water Play, and Music. The center will build a strong foundation of your child's conceptual understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, Reading, Arts and Mathematics (STREAM) at a young age though these centers to give him/her a wide variety of hands-on experiences.

CULTURAL AWARENESS. Part of our daily lesson is "Around the World" in which children learn about different places and their cultures. This part of the curriculum aims to embrace and celebrate diversity and at the same time developing globally competitive individuals. Through this, children will understand that there are places outside of Wilson, or North Carolina or the United States that will provide them with additional opportunities and great experiences.
